Amongst all villages from Republic of Moldova, there is a village in the southern part of the country by the name of Sarata- Galbena. In Sarata-Galbena, was founded a shelter home for elderly people. At his moment, shelter home offers 20 living places and all the necessary living conditions for decent living are provided. The nicely arranged bedrooms, deliciously prepared meals and a healthy way of living became normal- for those that couldn’t even dream about it.
The “Sarepta” shelter became not only a place where people are given social help, but also a place where they can acquire spiritual knowledge also. Bible discussions, prayer, songs and communication with church members have great impact regarding to the most important decision – Acknowledging Jesus!

The necessity of helping this category of people became so enormous, that we were indebted to make a decision regarding the extension of the shelter home up to 50 places. At the moment, the work for the enlargement of the shelter home is coming to an end. With God’s help and support of those who are faithful to Him, the opening of the shelter home will hold place at the end of this coming month.

Our desire and wish is to help as much as possible, but the possibilities and circumstances were different. In spite of all the difficulties, we did our best. We don’t have the opportunity, to offer help to all the people, but with helping some of them, we become conscious that we are a team, that supports those with whom God united us like brothers.

Please, pray for our ministry in this domain, that God may bless all those that sacrifice their strength and ability for thrive of the shelter home. Please pray, as well, for brothers and sisters from mission “Nehemiah”, from Germany, that is involved in this ministry. From “Nehemiah” mission, a humanitarian cargo with goods, equipment and furniture was sent for shelter home to Moldova. Pray for God’s providence concerning custom matters.
