November 10-12, 2010 in the Pentecostal Church “Word of Truth” in Riga took place 7th Conference of the International Assembly of Christian Evangelical Faith(MAXBE). The topic of the conference was “I am coming soon” – words of the Risen Christ our Lord said in Revelations 3:11 Within the Conference took place the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Theological Seminary (Kiev). The International Assembly of Christian evangelical faith is the founder of this seminary. A few things were discussed at the meeting such as the issues of life and activities of the leading Pentecostal seminary in this part of the world; new president of the seminary, the strategy work of the seminary, students’ admission and the training of the national academic staff.   Also on November 10 the international assembly had their meeting. Currently the Committee consists of 27 senior pastors of 16 Unions and Pentecostal Churches which are part of the Assembly of Christian Evangelical Faith. The committee discussed the issue of amending the charter and heard the accounts of individual unions. During the working session Bishops Iogon Praizel, Eduard Grobovenco, Victor Pavlovski, Mihail Panocko and Omar Bayler held sermons. Information on the countries and the national Unions was told by the Bishops Serghei Tvor, Rimantas Kupstis, Ago Lileorg, Andrei Ezernitchii, Eduard Grabovnko, Victor Pavlovski. The committee member and international evangelist Slavik Radchuk told about the ministry that he heads «Slavic International Ministries». There were a lot of prayers made for the countries and for the national church ministries of the countries. The president of the International Assembly (MAXBE) Victor Prohor presented the financial report for the period of November 8, 2008 - November 10, 2010. The new committee was elected and approved by the leading board. For the next two years were elected: The president of the International Assembly MAXBE was elected Senior Bishop of the Free Evangelical churches of Ukraine Vasilii Raichinet The vice-president was elected Bishop of the Latvian Pentecostal Churches Nicolai Grib. The secretary was elected President of the Vilnius Theological Seminary, vice-bishop of the Pentecostal Union Lithuania Ivanas Shkulis. |
